Amy Moon

Hello.
My name is Amy & I have been working in the Alternative Health sector for over 25 years.
I have always had & love & connection to the natural world growing up on a cherry orchard in Victoria. I would roam the orchard, swim in our day, pick wild blackberries & munch on various grasses, finding fennel, dandelion & dock weeds growing everywhere.
In my 20's I Iived in England for couple of years & boarded with various people. Here I learnt more about the alternative health scene meeting massage therapists, homoeopaths & yogis to guide my way.

When I returned to Australia I was determined to study Natural Medicine. I have completed a short First Aid course in the UK so Homeopathy was my first choice.
In hindsight one of the main reasons Homoeopathy applied to me was because it looked at the whole person, acknowledging the affects of stress & past trauma on biological function.
It was the first time I really started talking about my experiences & noticing how they were effecting my behaviour & the effects on my body.
I had experienced suicide in my family & other mental health issues. I was struggling a lot with social & general anxiety at the time & needed support.
From Homeopathy I later studied Herbalism with Saja Popin at Evolutional Herbalism.
It has been a privilege to study & use Natural Therapies as a practitioner & in everyday life. This knowledge has given me a deep trust in natural processes of healing & a better understand of how we can heal emotionally & physically.
As a mother of 2 boys I frequently used Homeopathic to various minor ailments, herbal teas & the occasional tincture.
More recently I studies Root Cause Wisdom with Tracey Stevens. This therapy melds well with Homeopathy again finding the links between the mind & body but with my psychological methods to uncover patterns from childhood & keep us stuck in life & health.
Healing requires the courage to look within ourselves and understand our role in our health and well-being, unpacking our beliefs and becoming aware of our conditioning.
My focus is on holistic health, which embraces a whole-person approach that considers the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of an individual, along with lifestyle and dietary choices.
Natural medicines offers significant support for healing our bodies and minds.
Herbs play a crucial role in supporting biological functions and stimulating systems, such as the lymphatic system, to aid in detoxification and tissue rejuvenation.
Numerous studies highlight the healing powers of various plant constituents.
Homeopathic medicines work energetically to stimulate our vital force, mimicking the body’s innate healing abilities.
By combining these natural remedies with Emotional Roots Wisdom, we delve deep to uncover the roots of emotional experiences that impact our biology.
This has been my journey for the past 20 years, and I remain committed to helping others on their health journeys throughout life.
I live with my loving husband and two boys in the foothills of Coffs Harbour, where we enjoy spending time on the river, in the bush, or at the beach.
